This book focuses on my conversation with Danil Krivoruchko and Andy Alekhin.
Danil Krivoruchko, the Ksoids creator, art director, motion designer, founder of the Myshli studio. Danil is a New York-based multidisciplinary art director and visual effects artist. He grew up in Ukraine, where he got his degrees in design and computer science. Since 2012 he has lived in the United States working as a VFX artist and art director on projects for major brands such as Apple, Nike, Verizon, Intel, etc. In 2016, inspired by the idea of integration science and art, he created 'NYC Flow', an award-winning experimental short film, where he explored video processing techniques introduced by neural-style code. Being a professional VFX artist with a passion for sci-fi, in 2020 Danil Krivoruchko released a short computer-generated sci-fi film 'Blindsight' based on the eponymous sci-fi novel by Canadian writer Peter Watts.
Danil launched a new NFT project "Ksoids" that became very popular with fans, digital art collectors, and investors and with the immediate sale of his almost entire collection. $37,500 has been already donated to Orangutan Outreach which will save 12 orangutans. In addition, a portion of the proceeds will go to climate change organization 350.org. The establishment shares Myshli's commitment to transparency with ETH cryptocurrency being accepted as donations, where every contribution can be tracked in the blockchain. Below follows the announcement.
Andy Alekhin is CEO and co-founder of Snark.Art. Snark.art collaborates with international artists exploring the creative possibilities of blockchain and other emerging technologies, developing projects in the fields of art, performance, music and literature. In 2020, Snark.art also launched a platform for selling digital art on the blockchain.
