A State in a Smartphone: A Safe Harbor for Ukraine

As Russia and Ukraine war continues, Ukraine has built a sovereign digital economy despite the war. This digital economy could serve as an example for smaller dependent nations to build their economies using digital technologies, empowering artists through non-fungible tokens, and creating fully transparent donation platforms for the betterment of humanity.
This sixth book in the Crypto Hipster series, entitled A State in a Smartphone focuses on four chapters of my greater Ukraine book and covers the period of February 2022 through May 2022. Pradeep Goel shares his story of how he and his company Solve.Care created shelters on the frontlines of Ukraine’s border with Poland. John Dennehy shares his Safe Harbour project that transported refugees from Ukraine to Ireland. Andrii Yavorskyi shares why his company, Global Logic, stands with Ukraine and some of the real relationship history between the two nations, Ukraine and Russia. And Alex Bornyakov, the Deputy Minister of Digital Transformation of Ukraine on IT Industry Development shares his vision and experience on Ukraine’s State in a Smartphone initiative through digital diplomacy.
