How to Review and Rate Decentralized Finance (DeFi) Protocols

This book focuses on my conversation with Rex Hygate, who is the founder of DeFi Safety.
Using his background in aircraft avionics software, Rex has specialized in quality and best practices on smart contract software. Starting from Eth Denver 2018, Rex established secureth.org as a set of software development process guidelines. At the start of DeFi Summer (June 2020), Rex started DeFi Safety to measure DeFi protocols on transparency, best practices and processes, and implicit safety. DeFi Safety has rated over 170 protocols on 7 chains and has become the pre-eminent independent source for technical ratings on DeFi protocols.
